The 2017 Volvo XC90 T8 brought home some impressive hardware from this year's New York International Auto Show.
The SUV earned New York Daily News Autos' Best Luxury Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle award.
"For 2017, the Volvo XC90 T8 hybrid is our winner in the luxury plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle category, a collection of vehicles you’re sure to see more of in coming years the way electrification is going..." the review says. "...but for now, nothing tops this electrified SUV in terms of style, engineering, and downright awesomeness."
The XC90 T8 employs an innovative new powertrain with a typical gas engine in the front and an electric motor in the back for extra power and lower emissions.
