The vast majority of us are Volvo owners and drivers ourselves, as are our family members. We're not ashamed to break from the 'shop talk' to reminisce over the V70 diesel wagon we drove back in high school, or share our thoughts about the future development of alternative fuel models like the XC90 Hybrid, if that's what interests you. (It interests us, too.)Our staff has over 170 years of combined Volvo service and sales experience, and with the Mitchell Auto Group, we're closing in on our centennial celebration. We celebrate the rich Volvo automotive history each year with our "Swedish Beauty Contest" car show, and love to discuss that history (and future) with our guests.

Back in 1922, Robert Pringle, fresh from Scotland, started a small automotive garage on Canal Street in Weatogue, Connecticut. From that humble beginning, the Mitchell Auto Group has grown to become one of Connecticut's premier dealers for seven automotive brands in their Farmington Valley area stores, along with a state-of-the-art body shop and detail centers.Here at Mitchell Volvo Cars, our connections with the people of Simsbury, the businesses and organizations that operate here are of great importance.
